Malcolm
has over 20
years combined experience as an investor and executive in IT, software
and services companies. He has led teams in strategy, planning,
business and corporate development, finance and operations. Malcolm is
the Managing Director of Strategic Alliances for Avaya, a leader in
unified communications. He previously held management
positions
in Microsoft’s Windows Desktop and Windows Mobile divisions from
2003-2007. Before Microsoft, Malcolm was a Vice President at Providence
Equity Partners where he invested a growth fund targeting the
communications and media industries. Malcolm was Vice President of
Corporate Development for Verio, a publicly traded communications
services company within the Providence portfolio, where he acquired and
integrated over 50 web hosting and Internet services providers to form
an international provider of web services. Verio was sold in an all
cash transaction to NTT at a valuation of $6.1 billion in 2000. Malcolm
holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Southern
California and a JD from Boston College. |
