Jeffrey Vogel has worked for over 20 years as an executive,
entrepreneur, investor and advisor with high tech companies. Prior to
joining BCP, Jeff was Managing Director at Velocity Equity Partners, an
early stage technology fund he founded in 2001. In 1989, Jeff
co-founded Electronic Book Technologies (eBT), a pioneer in SGML and
XML information systems. At eBT Jeff led R&D until 1996 when he
helped sell the company to Inso, a publicly traded company. From 1996
to 2000, Jeff was CTO and Vice President of R&D at Inso/eBT and
was also very active in the company's corporate development activities.
Jeff has advised and been a board member of many growth-oriented software companies, including Dynadec, Asure Software (Ticker ASUR), BEZ Systems (acquired by CompuWare), WebDialogs (acquired by IBM) and AccuRev.
He earned a B.S. in Computer
Science and Economics from Brown University. |
